The Cubs initially announced a 20-minute delay, with first pitch scheduled for 8:35 p.m. Eastern, but steady rain put the game in an indefinite delay. It's the last time the Reds and Cubs are scheduled to play each other this season.
The two teams already had a game postponed because of rain at Great American Ball Park on July 30. The Reds had five rain delays in an eight-day stretch at the start of August.
